Mark Turman is Vice President of Denison Ministries based in Dallas. He is also Executive Director of Denison Forum, the cultural apologetics arm of Denison Ministries where he hosts the weekly Faith & Clarity podcast. Among his other duties, Mark serves as lead pastor of The Chapel at Possum Kingdom lake, the ministry’s in person worship gathering, and as teacher for Bible study tours to Israel and Greece. A veteran pastor with 40 years of ministry experience—including 25 years as the inaugural pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas—Mark is the coauthor of Sacred Sexuality and Who Am I?. He holds degrees from Howard Payne University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Baylor’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary.

Mark and his wife, Judi have two children and three grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing on the golf course, boating on lakes at sunset, landscaping his yard and good meals with friends old and new.
